Senior Administrator
We are looking for a proven, experienced administrator for the Te Awamutu Events Centre, which comprises of Livingstone Aquatics, Stadium, Club Waipa and Swim Waipa. This is a busy, varied role.
As our Senior Administrator, you will oversee all administration functions for the operations of the Trust including taking a lead in customer service, general administration, financial, general record keeping and project work.
What you'll be doing

Customer service – Customer facing, Bookings, POS, external and internal stakeholders and contractors

Staff Management

Monthly accounts
-
Banking and reconciliations
-
Monthly reports
-
Stock and merchandise ordering

Invoicing and remittance

Coordination of facility bookings
What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Senior Administrator
-
Previous experience leading a team
-
Excellent organisational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders

Proficient in using the Xero accounting system

A proactive, flexible, and adaptable approach to problem-solving

A keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure

A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service

This is a fulltime role. Hours of work will generally be Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm. However if short-staffed this role is required to cover shifts on the roster outside of these days/hours.
The successful applicant will be required to pass a pre employment drug test and police vetting.
Fulltime Lifeguard - Perry Aquatic Centre
As a Lifeguard, you will work with our fun team at the Perry Aquatic Centre in Cambridge, to meet the customer’s needs in terms of information, services, access and support, promptly and courteously, thus maximising customer enjoyment, safety and encouragement of ongoing facility use.
You will ideally have:
• A current NZQA First Aid Certificate
• A current PLPC Lifeguard Certificate
• Previous experience of aquatic facilities and knowledge of aquatic facility activities
However full training can be provided for the right person. To gain the PLPC qualification the minimum age is 16 years.
Our facilities are open between 6am – 9pm Monday to Friday and 8am - 7pm on weekends. Your hours of work will be on a rostered basis covering these hours so flexibility is a must. A copy of the roster will be sent to you on receipt of application to view and confirm whether will work for you prior to organising an interview.
