Club Waipa is a fully equipped, modern gym with new state-of-the-art cardiovascular equipment and a comprehensive range of strength training apparatus, including machines and free weights. We also have qualified, experienced fitness professionals available to develop personalised programmes to help you achieve your individual goals.

We focus on fitness with empathy, with no invasive measurements or pressure. The idea is to support you in breaking down those barriers that are stopping you from taking steps towards health, fitness, and well-being.  

We are located upstairs at the Te Awamutu Event Centre, 3 Selwyn Lane Te Awamutu.

Saturday – Sunday: 8.00am – 4.00pm

Public Holidays: 8.00am – 4.00pm (Closed ANZAC Day, Good Friday and Christmas Day)

Group Fitness Class Overview

CROSS CHALLENGE – Do you think you are tough enough? CrossFit inspired and full throttle. This class is going to develop you into a special kind of awesome. 30-45 minutes

LOW IMPACT AEROBICS - This class is a great option for our senior participants, with exercises designed to improve stability, strengthen bone density, and slow down the loss of muscle mass. 60 minutes.

AQUA AEROBICS – 45 minutes. Great water-based exercise class non-impact. The natural buoyancy of the water reduces weight-bearing stress, allowing a greater ease of movement with less strain on bones, joints, and muscles. All fitness levels, great for those with injuries or recovery.

SPIN – A coordination free zone – get maximum results super-fast! Great for all fitness levels. 60 minutes.

PUMP - 60 minute addictive workout that shapes, tones, and strengthens your entire body challenging all major muscle groups.

HIIT – This high volume/ low resistance workout has short rest intervals and is primarily focused on improving muscle tone and cardiovascular fitness. Suitable for all Fitness levels. 30-45 minutes

B.A.T – Butt, Abs and Thighs will tighten and tone your  lower half. Suitable for all fitness levels. 45-60 minutes.PILATES – A Low impact workout focusing on muscular strength and endurance. Pilates emphasizes on postural alignment, core strength and muscle balance. Watch your stability and balance improve, whilst toning your body. 45-60 minutes.
